Est. MMXXVI
Chapter I — Origins
From the Workbench
Maison Virtus began with a single bench, a half-hide of chrome-tanned leather, and the conviction that an object made slowly carries time within it.
We do not make many things, we make things that last
Chapter II — The Art of hand making
The Discipline of Time
Saddle stitching is worked by hand two needles and a single thread, pulled tight with precision. Edges are carefully sanded, dyed, waxed and burnished by hand, building the finish layer by layer. The result is not rushed. It is shaped through patience, precision and time.
Chapter III — The Material
Leather, Chosen Hide by Hide
We source whole full-grain hides from carefully selected tanneries, inspecting each one by hand and rejecting more than we keep. What remains earns its place.
